• Facilitating re-use through a phylogenetic reporting standard

Possible specific aims (please rank by priority)

• for demonstration purposes, immediately implement a simple draft standard with formal language support
• work with community to develop and refine draft as community standard
  • ensure broad buy-in
  • address needs of producers, consumers, data resources
• develop a tool to generate records (for archiving) that comply with draft and are ready to meet community MIAPA requirements
• coordinate with TreeBASE and Dryad
• development extensible software to direct executable workflow using information included in MIAPA-compliant XML file or database download.
